What to Expect
Walking Netball is a slower-paced version of the game - no running or jumping - focused on fun, fitness, and social connection. Players walk throughout the session, can take 1–2 steps when in possession, and hold the ball for up to 4 seconds . It’s low-impact and joint-friendly, making it perfect for improving cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination . Socially, it offers genuine connection - friendly group settings, teamwork, and a great sense of belonging . Research even suggests it supports mental wellbeing and reduces social isolation, especially among middle to older aged women.
